WASP
NEST DESTROYER
Effective control at a safe distance Sorex Wasp Nest Destroyer
is a non-flammable CFC-free aerosol containing two highly effective pyrethroid
insecticides - resmethrin and tetramethrin. It is equally effective on
wasps, masonry bees, masonry wasps and hornets. Dealing with wasps nests.
Particularly those high up in structures or trees has traditionally been
difficult and often puts the operator at risk of being stung. Not any
longer.
Morning, noon or night
Unlike many other wasp nest destroyers which require the nest to be treated
when the weather is cold or in the early morning or late evening , Sorex
Wasp Nest Destroyer has been specifically developed to allow nests to
be eliminated even in the most difficult situations and in any weather
conditions.
How Wasp Nest Destroyer works
Sorex Wasp Nest Destroyer rapidly lowers the temperature in and around
the nest and produces a stupefying vapour. Under normal circumstances,
any "intruder" who disturbs a nest would be subject to an instinctive
collective defensive reaction by the wasps. However, Sorex Wasp Nest
Destroyer totally disrupts this instinctive defensive reaction and
enables the product to be introduced directly into the nest. The vapour
suffocates whilst the pyrethroids kill all inhabitants - including
larvae. Insects returning after treatment will not enter the nest.
They will swarm in the area for a while, but, as the vapour disrupts
their territorial and defensive instincts, they will not attack and
will eventually disperse and die
How to use Wasp Nest Destroyer
Direct the jet towards the nest, beginning from a distance of up to
3m (10 feet). Spray until the nest and all visible wasps are
contacted, then move forward spraying continually, until the jet can
be discharged directly into the nest hole. For large nests the whole
aerosol should be discharged. This product may damage some paints,
plastics and synthetic fibres. If in doubt, test spray a small area
before application. |
