LICE
Lice are a major problem to cattle. They congregate on the animals shoulders,
base of neck and around the head and top of the tail.
There are two major types of louse, a sucking type and a biting type.
Sucking types cause greatest damage and irritation. They feed by piercing
the skin with sharp mouth parts and drawing blood. The biting louse feeds
on dead blood cells, blood and discharge from existing wounds. Animals
will scratch, rub and bite affected areas making the problem even worse.
They will be in poor condition and production will suffer. Renegade is
a pour on for cattle for use against lice and flies.
Control Solution: - Renegade - Barricade
