DECIMITE
Decimite is a ready-to-use, fast acting, pesticide-free product for the control of poultry red mite. It is particularly effective at preventing poultry red mite movement onto eggs, therefore protecting eggs against spotting. Application of Decimite can be carried out by using either a mist-blower or a knapsack sprayer. All surfaces around poultry cages, feed troughs, egg conveyers and nesting boxes should be treated. Removal of all nozzle and lance filters from the sprayer prior to application is essential. Decimite is also particularly useful as part of a rotational control programme. With this in mind, Sorex have purposely designed such a programme encompassing the use of Decimite and Littac.
