BAITING
PROGRAM
FOR MICE:
Mice live indoors close to food and a thorough survey is vital to find
all the colonies which may infest a building.
BAITING FOR MICE
WITH Sorexa CD or Neosorexa
Place many baits of 20-30g of bait in purpose designed bait boxes or suitable
containers about 1-2 metres apart in all places where droppings, tracks
and other signs of activity are seen.
WITH Sorexa Gel
Place many baits of 5 grams of gel in purpose designed bait boxes or suitable
containers about 1-2 metres apart in all places where droppings, tracks
and other signs of activity are seen.
WITH Neosorexa Bait Blocks
Place 1 block in purpose designed bait boxes or suitable containers about
1-2 metres apart in all places where droppings, tracks and other signs
of activity are seen. Inspect baits frequently, particularly in the first
ten days replacing eaten bait.
If a bait point is completely consumed, increase the quantity. Continue
replenishing baits until they are left untouched.
FOR RATS AND MICE:
Whether you are baiting for rats or mice, always:
· Read the product label.
· Take care to prevent access to the baits by children, birds and
non-target animals,
..especially dogs.
· If not using purpose-designed bait boxes use drain pipes or pieces
of metal or ..wood, secured at an angle against
a vertical surface.
· Inspect baits regularly and top up whenever bait is eaten.
· Remove and burn or bury all remaining bait, bait containers and
any rodent bodies ..found.
Good Housekeeping
Good Housekeeping is an important measure in deterring reinfestation from
neighbouring rodents and a basic step in pest management.
· Outside remove overgrown weeds and rubbish from the vicinity
and block entry ..holes as far as possible.
· Keep a metre of open space around all buildings.
· Inside remove all rubbish and debris. Stack goods on pallets
off the floor and away ..from walls. Keep
all areas clean and tidy. |
