BAITING
PROGRAM
FOR RATS:
When signs of rats are seen, survey your premises inside and out to determine
the extent and location of the infestation.
Check for runs along walls and in vegetation around buildings.
Check for rat holes, especially near water, up to 100m away.
Check inside buildings for damage and droppings.
Check for tracks in dust and mud.
BAITING FOR RATS
WITH Neosorexa or Neosorexa
Pellets
Place baits of 100g - 200g in purpose designed bait boxes or suitable
containers on runs around buildings, between nesting and feeding places,
at entry points, in holes and where droppings are seen.
WITH Neosorexa Bait Blocks
Place 4-5 blocks in purpose designed bait boxes or suitable containers
on runs around buildings, between nesting and feeding places, at entry
points, in holes and where droppings are seen.
WITH Neosorexa Ratpacks
Place 1-2 Ratpacks in purpose designed bait boxes or suitable containers
on runs around buildings, between nesting and feeding places, at entry
points, in holes and where droppings are seen.
Use many bait points - more than you would think necessary, a minimum
of 5 bait points would normally be required for a small infestation and
more than 40 for a large infestation.
Inspect baits frequently, particularly in the first ten days replacing
eaten bait. If a bait point is completely consumed, increase the quantity.
Continue replenishing baits until they are left untouched.
Prevent Reinfestation
After a successful baiting scheme set barrier baits on all approach routes
and at corners of buildings, to intercept rats before they attack your
stored crops or enter premises. These should consist of about 500g of
bait (5 Neosorexa Ratpacks), placed in a suitable container |
